Remember those handheld, folded, open-uppy things that we made as kids that you would pick a number and color and inside was a fortune? (like "the boy you like, likes you back") Well, this is made the same way those were, but you use it upside down and make a basket out of it! Fun, huh? I added the handle (1/2" piece of cs) and glitter brads and an embellishment. It calls for a piece of 6x6 (designer paper works the best because it isn't as thick to fold). These would make great favors, Easter and May Day baskets, etc!
Oh! the possibilities!

Vintage Christmas
Hello!
This is a tree that I made using the circle scallop dies, chunky glitter around the edges, Xmas DS and fabric, lace ribbon and a votive glass on the bottom. The beads were some that I had left from another project years ago! They are all stacked on a thin dowel rod. I'd thought about making several of these-but to tell you the truth, it was more time consuming than I thought!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Christmas 3x3
Once again, I apologize for the fuzzy pic! This is such a cute little tag card! When Pam came over to stamp, she'd found this idea somewhere (and I'm thinking it may be Vicky's blog?). It's the little tag punch for the fence. and the wreath is made with a flower punch, heart punches and mini circle punch.
Have a great day!

Make & Take preview
Here are 3 of the 4 projects we will be making this weekend at the Make & take! I LOVE the Monogram set and plan to make these as gifts for family and friends...the new Embossing Folder, "Elegant Lines" really adds alot! If you don't have it--you need it!
I'm also trying my hand at Vintage cards and tags. These use the New Designer paper and Bells & Boughs stamp set. ALSO, the new Distressing kit. There are SO many new accessories that lend themselves for the "Vintage" look! (Waffle paper, lace ribbon, seam binding and more!)

A Cute Christmas
I made these cards using "A Cute Christmas" stamp set and the coordinating Designer paper (which also matches the fabric!) Markers were used to color and of course, I added glitter! I love the colors and the "cutesiness" of them!

Medallion Ornament
I took this picture at convention because I loved the idea of making an ornament with the Medallion stamp! Here, they used the treat cups in the center, filled with Snow Caps. Wouldn't doing a tree with all different colors of these look pretty?

My Ice Castle from House in Mini
I can't TELL you how much fun I had creating this house! It's only $5.95, plain, in the current mini catalog. Want to see it, touch it, feel it in person? Come to my Open House this Sunday, 9/12 from 1-4! There will be lots of other fun things to see and free gifts! I will also have a sign up for a class to make this or your version of how you'd decorate this house. Do you see a Halloween house? a Gingerbread house? I did the Ice Palace because I can keep it out during the whole winter!

Cheers to You!
Sorry about the quality of this pic! But maybe you can see that it's a shaker card with dyed marguarita salt in it! There is a window sheet over some sticky foam that surrounds the glass--and it keeps the salt in. We made this at our last make & take--and of course had Marguaritas while we made it!
My sister was visiting with her 3 kids from Michigan and just left on Tues--it was so much fun to see them! Jocelyn, 11, is quite the stamper! Today, my daughter arrives from Chicago for the weekend. So I'd better go get some stamping done now!
