Playing with my new stamps sets and new colors!

Here, I used the new "in colors" of Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry-don't you love these colors? (they will be available for you to order on July 1st!) The stamp set is new, also-Razzle Dazzle-and the new designer paper, Razzleberry Lemonade. And of course, the matching polka dot ribbon and some glitter on the flower! This is one of my swaps for SU convention in August. (I can't wait!)
This is a level two hostess set that I was playing with. The images are colored with marker directly onto the stamp.

The background is embossed with images from the new "Circle Circus" stamp set from SU on Rose Red paper. I used the new Bermuda Bay for the scallop and the new matching ribbon! The flower is die cut and on So Saffron. This is also one of my swaps for convention.

Corrected Flamingo!

There! If you read the post below this, you'd see that I'd forgotten a layer! It's hard to tell in this photo, but the light pink behind the flamingo is flowered designer paper. I think layers make all the diffrence, don't you?

Flamingo DigiStamp art

Here is a sample of what the flamingo digistamp art could look like from my digi store (click pic of pink flamingo in upper left corner). I colored it with Copic markers and layered on -hey! I just realized that I forgot one of my layers! Pink flowered designer paper! Well look again soon and I will go change that! Anyway-all SU products. (of course!)
Sorry it's taken me so long to post, but I've been working on my Pink Flamingo site.
I would love to see what you come up with for the images there!
More soon...

Simple and Sweet

The stamp is Bella's Bloom from SU. The background is Swiss Dot Cuttlebug. There's just something about this card that is pleasing! And it can be used for any occasion...
I just got back from the shower and the notecards were a hit!

Wedding Shower gift

I made these for a wedding shower that I'm going to Sat. These were the colors on her invitation--so I tried to match. The 'H' is embossed with gold on the cards and the envelopes. Hope she likes themm--they were fun to make!

What an adorable baby announcement!

This is the announcement that my friend, Elaine, made for her son and daughter-in-law's new baby. I love that is doubles as a frame! She used the scallop die cut and new circle cutter from SU along with SU paper and ink. Welcome Dylan!

Quick, Cute, Easy & Chocolate!

I was looking at blogs, and saw this idea on my downline's blog and fell in love with it! (www.inkinwithdink.typepad.com) So I had to go and try making it right away--it's using the Matchbox Die cut and Scallop punch. I added a flower from the Pretties kit under the Rhinestone brad. Know how to do the flower? Cut a scalloped circle in half and roll into a cone shape--adhere with some tape. Do this with 6 halves and place a large glue dot in the center of another scalloped circle. Attach the cones with the point on the glue dot. The candies inside are Hershey Nuggets wrapped in Designer paper. GREAT for favors and many other things!

This little album is so cute! I can't wait to add pics!

This is the album I made at the class last week...I'm going to put pics in it of my parents' upcoming visit over the 4th of July and give it to my mom. It's perfect because we are having a
"Luau" theme cookout! Thanks, Tina, for the great class! I'm going to make some more!

Iris drawing-the real ones don't last long enough!

I do wish that the iris lasted longer! Luckily, I went outside and drew this one before they dried up! It is colored with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. This is one of the digital drawings (digi stamps) that I will be offering as soon as I get it set up! Keep and eye out for "The Pink Flamingo"--that's the name of my digi-stamps!
Thanks for looking!

The garage sale is over-yay! They are SO much work! But I got rid of alot of stuff that I didn't need--and got some $$ for more stamps!

Big Bird Candy

Isn't he cute? My downline, Dina (inkinwithdink@typepad.com) swapped these at SU convention last year. Great idea for kid's b'day parties! I found the Pixi Stix at the Dollar Tree-a bag for $1. Big Bird is punched twice (front and back of head) with the Scallop punch. (what would I ever do without that punch? If you don't have it, you NEED it!) :-) Use a large glue dot to adhere the Pixi stix between the 2 circles. You could even use "googley eyes" instead of punched ones.....
Garage sale is coming along--SO MUCH STUFF! I have retired stamp sets also...if you are interested, it will be in the Sun and the Star classifieds Thur-Sat. on Glenwood in OP.
Thanks for looking!

Scene in a Garden

Another good use for Designer paper-it uses up alot of the background and you can focus on the stamp image. This is watercolored and has the wide grosgrain ribbon behind the scalloped saying. You can hardly see, but I used the lightest grey Copic marker to make a shadow on the left of the plant. Thanks for looking! I'm off to organize for the garage sale we're having this Thurs-Sat. If you are in the area, there are LOTS of things and GREAT deals! I'm even selling my Xyron machine that I only used once...
